3-D EQUIPMENT CLASSES

OPEN DIVISION : (Blue Stake) Scopes allowed. Moveable sights, unlimited stabilizer length, release aid allowed,  Maximum distance is (50yd +/-3yds)

Bow hunter:  (Red Stake) Bow hunting Equipment –No Scopes or Moveable sights. Maximum distance is (40yd +/-3yds )

Traditional/Longbow:  (Orange Stake) Recurve, no sights, fingers only. Any arrow material allowed. Maximum distance is (30 yd +/-3yds)

Women Bow hunter : ( Yellow Stake) Equipment same as Bow hunter. Maximum distance is (35 yd +/-3yds)

Youth:  (Orange Stake) Age 13-17 Equipment same as Bowhunter. Maximum distance is (30 yd +/-3yds)

Cub:  (White Stake) Up to including age 12.  Equipment Inclusive Maximum distance is (25 yd +/-3yds)

3-D Scoring

An “11” ring consisting of a circle centered within the 10 ring.

 The circle size approximately (25%) of the size of the 10 ring

A 10 ring consisting of a circle inside the vital area

A vital area (8 ring) that roughly approximates the heart lung. And liver area of the appropriate animal.

The arrow shaft must be inside or touching the line of the “11”,”10”,”8” any where else in the target is an “5” miss is a zero
